David Lipscomb Tournament

Wow what an amazing day of wrestling.  We really looked great.  Here are a few stats from todays matches.  We had a total of 68 matches with three teams.  We as a team had 45 wins with only 23 losses.  Way to go boys.

Montgomery Central Take Down Tournament

While there are no stats for the Take Down tournament I can tell you, per Coach Jeff who said "I saw a lot of fight in the boys...I am very proud of the way they responded to our talk between the second and third rounds.  We are going to make a lot of noise this season."  I would like to add how impressed we were as parents (grandparents) watching from the stands.  All of the wrestlers really showed not only great skill but even greater composer during those matches that might not have gone their way.  There was absolutely no pouting or tempers.  Our new wrestlers showed great promise and our veterans showed they still had 'it'.

Beech High School vs. Cane Ridge High School

Wow what a first match.  While we didn't keep a team score I can tell you that we had 15 wins and only 7 losses.  We really looked strong and this is only the beginning of a very strong season.
